What does Added Security® mean to you?

It means wear and tear components are covered.

Subaru stands behind our Added Security® program because our objective is to make your Subaru ownership an effortless experience. So, if one of the covered components breaks, a Subaru-trained technician will repair it. And to make sure your vehicle is repaired to the highest specifications, we will only use official Subaru parts and components (just like your Subaru factory warranty).

What does Wear and Tear mean?

As with most extended warranty agreements, Subaru will replace covered components that fail to perform within manufacturer guidelines. However, with Added Security® wear and tear items may also be covered. For example, if worn engine components are causing unexpected oil consumption, that may be covered. Or if your brakes pads were damaged from a worn brake caliper. Even worn suspension components like struts and torn CV boots are covered, with the appropriate coverage. Found a Subaru you love? Added Security® can keep it covered up to 120,000 miles depending on the vehicle and plan.
